Mario Williams - Excellent in Thursday's lossWilliams gathered in 7 of 9 targets for 130 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 34-24 loss versus Memphis.
ImpactWilliams was the bright spot of the Green Wave's offense Thursday. He set season highs in receptions, targets and yards and caught his fourth touchdown of the season. He had one crucial mistake though as he lost a fumble in the fourth quarter following a 55-yard reception that would have set the Green Wave up in the red zone. Makhi Hughes - Shut down ThursdayHughes compiled nine carries for 15 yards and caught 2 of 4 targets for 26 yards during Thursday's 34-24 loss versus Memphis.
ImpactHughes had been the engine of the Green Wave's offense all season but was completely shut down in Thursday's loss. He gained just 15 yards on the ground on nine carries, both of which were by far his season lows. He added 26 yards in the passing game, but it was still far and away his worst performance of the season. He will look to bounce back versus Army in the AAC Championship Game on Dec. 6.

Greg Desrosiers Jr. - Scores three touchdowns ThursdayDesrosiers totaled six rushes for 41 yards and one touchdown and hauled in 8 of 9 targets for 84 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 34-24 win over Tulane.
ImpactDesrosiers led Memphis to an upset win over Tulane as he scored a hat-trick of touchdowns. It was a surprising performance considering he came into the game with three total touchdowns through six games and Mario Anderson still saw a massive workload. Desrosiers caught a pair of touchdowns from Seth Henigan in the first half, then scored a 29-yard rushing touchdown early in the third to give his team a 24-10 lead. It was an excellent way to end the season for him as nearly half of his season-long production came in Thursday's contest.
