Impact Smith is a redshirt freshman that has been showing steady improvement. The coaching staff seems to be very impressed with his athleticism and ability to make big plays. There are still some things that he is working on according to receivers coach Rob Likens, but he could very well find himself in a larger role this season than initially thought if he can find steady playing time with quarterback D'Eriq King.

Impact Rambo is a transfer from Oklahoma that saw his usage slip in 2020, but is poised to be the Hurricanes top outside threat this season for quarterback D'Eriq King. Rambo was impressive during the spring game and also showed out during an open scrimmage over the weekend. Receivers coach Rob Likens said of Rambo, "He's tall, he has length, straight-line speed, but he also has elite quickness. Just the possibility of big plays and getting behind people, I think that he's going to command respect." There's certainly a lot to like here.
