Making push for playing time George has impressed early in camp and is making a push for playing time as a freshman, Blake Brockermeyer of 247Sports reports.

Impact George joins a group of Hurricanes wideouts who haven't proven a ton to date outside of senior Mike Harley, who is coming off of a solid 2020 campaign. That could leave the door open for some playing time if George continues to perform well during camp. A better feel for the wide receiver pecking order may begin to surface closer to the start of the season.

Impact King was wearing a sleeve on his right knee in practice as he continues working his way back from a torn ACL in the Cheez-It Bowl last December. The 5-foot-11 quarterback racked up 2,686 passing yards with a 23:5 TD:INT for Miami last season. King will turn 24 later this month and he's expected to be on the field for Week 1 against Alabama on Sep. 4.
