Aidan Chiles - Quiet day in loss Chiles was 13-for-19 passing for 167 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 38-7 loss versus Ohio State. He also had six rushes for negative nine yards. Impact Chiles and the Michigan State offense proved their ability to move the ball downfield early in the game, though redzone turnovers and other mistakes gave Ohio State the opportunity to run away with the game. The sophomore quarterback found the end zone on a 12-yard strike to receiver Jaron Glover in the second quarter to cut the Ohio State lead to three points before the Buckeyes created separation. Chiles has thrown for 1,058 yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions through Michigan State's first five games this season, adding 95 yards and three touchdowns on the ground as well. Chiles will hope to turn things around in the second half of the season, though a trip to Eugene to play Oregon will pose another difficult task on Saturday.
