Impact Spencer found the end zone on a 12-yard pass from quarterback Max Brosmer in the third quarter, getting the Golden Gophers on the board for the day. The score was the lone bright spot on the day for the senior receiver, as he was mostly held in check throughout the game. Coming off a pair of performances of less than 30 yards, Spencer will be hoping to use the team's upcoming bye to prepare for a home battle against Maryland the following Saturday.

Daniel Jackson - Leading receiver in victory Jackson logged 10 receptions (on 13 targets) for 89 yards during Saturday's 21-17 win versus UCLA.
Impact Jackson recorded a season-high in receptions on a day in which he led the team in both catches and receiving yards. Despite failing to find the end zone, Saturday marked one of Jackson's best outing of the season, which the senior receiver needed coming off a lackluster performance against UCLA the week before. Jackson has had a solid season thus far, catching 42 passes for 451 yards through the team's first seven games, though a single touchdown is certainly less than ideal. Jackson will hope to use the team's upcoming bye to better prepare for a home game against Maryland the following Saturday.

Darius Taylor - Scores twice in road win Taylor tallied 16 rushes for 30 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 3 of 4 targets for 17 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-17 win against UCLA.
Impact Taylor found the end zone twice against the Bruins, once on a two-yard run in the third quarter and again on a four-yard pass from quarterback Max Brosmer to take the lead in the final minute of the game. While the sophomore running back hasn't quite lived up to the hype following a productive freshman season, his 432 yards and six touchdowns on the ground combined with his 29 catches for 223 yards and a pair of scores through the air through the team's first six games are certainly nothing to scoff at. Taylor will look to use the Golden Gophers' upcoming bye to prepare himself for a home date against Maryland the following Saturday.

Max Brosmer - Multiple scores in victory Brosmer was 26-for-37 passing for 193 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 21-17 victory over UCLA. He also had five rushes for negative seven yards.
Impact Brosmer did what was asked of him in a tight road victory over UCLA. The senior quarterback connected with receiver Elijah Spencer and running back Darius Taylor on a pair of second half touchdown passes to give the Golden Gophers a late lead against the Bruins, securing the team's fourth victory this season. Brosmer has performed fairly in his inaugural season at the D-I level, throwing for 1,456 yards and eight touchdowns to four interceptions through seven games, and will look to build on this week's performance when the Golden Gophers host Maryland following the upcoming bye.
