Leaving Houston Cooper placed his name in the transfer portal Wednesday and is expected to move on from Houston, 247Sports.com reports. Impact Coming out of high school in 2018, Cooper initially signed with Navy as a quarterback recruit, but be left the program after one year and transferred to JUCO program Langston University in Oklahoma. He had pledged his commitment to Houston in January and was expected to compete as a receiver, but he's now elected to re-open his recruitment. Since Cooper didn't play at the FBS level in 2019, he should be eligible to compete immediately at his next stop.
