Stepping away from football McCall (concussion) has decided to retire from football due to injury, R. Cory Smith of 247Sports.com reports. Impact McCall suffered an injury against Wake Forest and stated this is an injury "he cannot come back from." The senior quarterback played four collegiate seasons, completing 587 of 842 passes for 8,010 yards, 64 touchdowns and 13 interceptions across 33 appearances. In his absence, C.J. Bailey should continue to see work under center.
