Grayson McCall - Stepping away from football McCall (concussion) has decided to retire from football due to injury, R. Cory Smith of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact McCall suffered an injury against Wake Forest and stated this is an injury "he cannot come back from." The senior quarterback played four collegiate seasons, completing 587 of 842 passes for 8,010 yards, 64 touchdowns and 13 interceptions across 33 appearances. In his absence, C.J. Bailey should continue to see work under center.

Dacari Collins - Scores in narrow win Collins hauled in all four targets for 32 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-23 victory against California.

Impact Collins reeled in his first touchdown of the season against the Golden Bears. His four receptions were also a season high. The receiver has been rather quiet this season, and his four targets were the most he saw since the opener when he accrued five. Collins is yet to be a truly fantasy relevant receiver, but we'll see if h can build off this performance in two weeks against Stanford.

Impact Joly had a big day with a season high 95 yards while leading the Wolfpack in receiving on the day.

Hollywood Smothers - Touchdown in win over SMU Smothers compiled seven carries for 25 yards and gathered in all six targets for 87 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-23 victory over California.

Impact Smothers wasn't able to get much done on the ground but was a huge contributor in the passing game as he was second on the team in receiving yards and led the team in catches. Smothers also had his first receiving touchdown of the season and second total.

Impact Bailey followed up a very good performance last week with another Saturday against SMU. Bailey came out on top in this one as well as he put up back-to-back 300-yard passing games. Bailey also managed to avoid turnovers something that has plagued him a bit since taking over at QB.

Notably, true freshman quarterback CJ Bailey has started both of those games, so it's possible the tight end is developing something of a rapport with the signal-caller.
