Landon Sides - First touchdown in bowl loss Sides reeled in 5 of 7 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 30-28 loss to Texas State.

Impact Sides turned in his best performance of the season in Friday's First Responder Bowl, highlighted by a 16-yard touchdown grab in the opening seconds of the second quarter, his first score this year. Sides will finish his sophomore campaign with 24 receptions for 280 yards. He figures to have a more prominent role in the North Texas offense in 2025.

Makenzie McGill II - Scores vs. Texas State McGill posted seven rushes for 28 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 2 of 3 targets for 33 yards during Friday's 30-28 defeat to Texas State.

Impact McGill was bottled up on the ground to the tune of 28 yards, but he still managed to find the end zone for his 10th touchdown of the season. The tailback had a very solid redshirt freshman season, amassing 78 carries for 470 yards along with 11 receptions for 103 yards. He'll be a featured back in 2025 for the Mean Green.

Damon Ward Jr. - Tops century mark in bowl game Ward tallied five receptions (on eight targets) for 133 yards during Friday's 30-28 loss against Texas State.

Impact Ward didn't quite post the season many expected in 2024, but he still totaled respectable numbers, racking up 41 catches for 755 yards and four touchdowns over 10 games. The 5-foot-11 wideout's college career comes to a close with career-best marks for both receptions and receiving yards, and he'll now set his sights toward the next level if any opportunities surface.
