Impact With the Mean Green in the midst of an injury crisis at running back, Porter, a transfer wide receiver, led the backfield Saturday. He led the team with 120 yards on a team-high 13 carries, following up his decent performance last week where he scored a touchdown on the ground. His outing could have been a lot better too, but Makenzie McGill scored three touchdowns on just six carries. Although there is lots of uncertainty in the North Texas backfield moving forward, Porter appears to be the current starter with McGill and Kiefer Sibley rotating in.

Dalton Carnes - 90 yards versus Wyoming Carnes gathered in 4 of 5 targets for 90 yards during Saturday's 44-17 win versus Wyoming.

Impact Carnes had his first productive outing with North Texas since joining the program in the offseason as he gained nearly 100 yards on just four catches. It came out of nowhere as he had just 25 receiving yards through three games. It appears he is starting to gain the trust of Chandler Morris, but there are so many talented receivers on the roster so Carnes will struggle to stay consistently relevant.

DT Sheffield - Bounces back versus Wyoming Sheffield hauled in 8 of 9 targets for 109 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 44-17 win over Wyoming.

Impact After being completely shut out last week at Texas Tech, Sheffield bounced back with a season-high 109 yards. He also scored a 29-yard touchdown in the first quarter, his fourth score of the season. Last week's dud can officially be considering an anomoly, as Sheffield has proven in the three other weeks that he is Chandler Morris' favorite target. With the Mean Green's passing attack being so strong, Sheffield will continue to put up big numbers in the receiving game.

Blair Conwright - Scores Saturday Conwright caught all four targets for 40 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 44-17 victory versus Wyoming.

Impact Conwright scored his second touchdown of the season, this time on a 19-yard reception in the second quarter. He also caught a season-high four passes for a season-high 40 yards. Although he has already caught two touchdowns in four games this season, he is not currently receiving enough work to be a consistent fantasy option.

Damon Ward Jr. - Struggles again Saturday Ward reeled in 1 of 3 targets for seven yards during Saturday's 44-17 win against Wyoming.

Impact After breaking out for 230 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, Ward has just four catches for 58 yards in his past three games. In fairness, he is clearly not fully healthy due to an undisclosed injury he suffered in Week 3 and played just 17 snaps in Saturday's win. The Mean Green passing attack has been very productive this season, so if Ward can get back to 100 percent, he could be a major part of that.

Makenzie McGill - Scores three times Saturday McGill totaled six rushes for 38 yards and three touchdowns and hauled in 0 of 2 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 44-17 victory over Wyoming.

Impact Although McGill received the third most rushing attempts on the team, he received the goal line work and scored three touchdowns, two of which came from inside the four-yard line. With the Mean Green dealing with an injury crisis in the backfield, McGill, wide receiver Shane Porter and true freshman Kiefer Sibley have stepped up and played well. It's unclear what will happen to McGill when Zach Evans and Damashja Harris return, but McGill and Porter hold decent value until they do.

Chandler Morris - Bounces back versus Wyoming Morris completed 28 of 41 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 44-17 victory against Wyoming. He also had four rushes for 22 yards.

Impact After a rough outing last week at Texas Tech, Morris bounced back and threw for over 300 yards on 68 percent completion percentage. He also did not turn the ball over after throwing three interceptions in each of his previous two starts. It was his fourth consecutive game with multiple passing touchdowns and he threw for over 300 yards for the third time this season. With only conference games for the rest of the season, he should be able to put up nice numbers especially against the struggling teams.
