Impact Evans was suspended for the season opener against South Alabama and is not on the depth chart for this Week 2 contest, either, so his availability going forward remains uncertain. His next chance to play will come against Texas Tech on Sep. 14.

He completed 78 percent of his 41 passing attempts and tossed for over 400 yards and three touchdowns, adding two more scores on the ground. He found a clear connection with Damon Ward as the pair combined for 12 catches for 230 yards and two touchdowns. With the Mean Green's defense proving to be in rough shape once again, Morris will have plenty of opportunities to put up elite numbers this season.
