Riley Leonard - Solid on the ground Leonard was 17-for-23 passing for 163 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 31-24 win over Louisville. He also had 13 rushes for 52 yards with one touchdown. Impact Leonard continues to put up decent numbers. His rushing yards are more impressive, and he is in route to surpassing his career best on the ground. In 2022, the Duke transfer ran for 636 yards and 11 touchdowns in 12 games while this season he has already put up 374 yards rushing along with six touchdowns. The Irish are waiting for the passing that happened in 2022 where he threw for 2.794 yards and 20 touchdowns. Leonard had 750 passing yards in five games and three touchdowns this season. If there is one team that Leonard should be able to throw on is their next opponent, Stanford (Oct. 12). The Cardinal pass defense is in the bottom 10 in the country.
