Le'Meke Brockington - Grabs two passes in Pinstripe BowlBrockington gathered in 2 of 4 targets for 27 yards during Thursday's 28-20 win versus Syracuse.
ImpactBrockington logged two receptions for the third game in a row before starting quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis (lower body) was forced out in the second quarter. The redshirt freshman receiver caught just five of nine targets for 99 yards over the first 10 weeks of the season, but he's taken on a bigger role since sitting out Week 11 versus Northwestern, logging four six catches on 11 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown over the final three contests. This included a game-winning touchdown versus Wisconsin in the regular-season finale. Brockington still slotted in as the team's third or fourth receiving option over this span, though his increased usage down the stretch could indicate a bigger role heading into the 2023 campaign.

Daniel Jackson - Two touchdowns in bowl victoryJackson hauled in all four targets for 73 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 28-20 victory versus Syracuse.
ImpactJackson accounted for two of the Golden Gophers' four touchdowns and all but one of the team's three offensive scores. The junior wideout went up and over a Syracuse defender for his first touchdown, hauling in a 20-yard pass by sixth-year senior Tanner Morgan, who stepped in after new starting quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis was forced out with a lower-body injury in the second quarter. Jackson then grabbed a screen pass near the line of scrimmage and followed his blockers 25 yards into the end zone for Minnesota's final score late in the third quarter. The 6-foot wideout finished his third season with a 37-557-5 stat line, pacing the Golden Gophers in both receiving yards and touchdowns. He should be primed for another prominent role alongside returning senior wideout Chris Autman-Bell (knee) when Kaliakmanis is presumably named the starting quarterback heading into 2023.

Trey Potts - Finishes out bowl winPotts accrued nine rushes for 27 yards during Thursday's 28-20 victory against Syracuse.
ImpactPotts took over the Golden Gophers' primary rushing duties for the second half, as graduate senior Mohamed Ibrahim sat out the remainder of the game after setting the program record for career rushing yards late in the second half. Therefore, the redshirt junior logged at least nine carries for the second time since the midway point of the regular season. Potts also outpaced graduate senior Bryce Williams' two rushing attempts in this game, and he has now logged 223 carries for 1,026 yards and nine touchdowns in 17 games over the past two seasons. With Ibrahim set to head to the NFL, Potts is the top candidate to take over Minnesota's No. 1 running back role for the 2023 season.

Mohamed Ibrahim - Sets program record in final gameIbrahim notched 16 rushes for 71 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 28-20 victory over Syracuse.
ImpactIbrahim played nearly the entire first half before sitting out the final two quarters. Prior to his early exit, the graduate senior broke Minnesota's record for most career rushing yards (4,668) and most single-season rushing touchdowns (20) in program history. Ibrahim also finished his collegiate career as the Gophers' all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 53, and he'll now look to take his underrated talent into the 2023 NFL Draft. Redshirt junior Trey Potts took over the team's primary rushing duties for the second half, carrying nine times for 27 yards, so it appears he'll be the front-runner for No. 1 role heading into the 2023 campaign.

Tanner Morgan - Leads bowl victory in reliefMorgan completed four of seven passes for 58 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 28-20 win against Syracuse.
ImpactMorgan opened the game as the Gophers No. 2 quarterback behind freshman Athan Kaliakmanis, who took control of the team's starting job after Morgan missed the final three games of the season with a concussion. However, the sixth-year senior was called upon after Kaliakmanis went down with a lower-body injury in the second quarter. Morgan then completed the Gophers' second scoring drive of the game with a 20-yard pass into the end zone to wide receiver Daniel Jackson. The graduate signal-caller finished out remainder of his final collegiate game under center for the Golden Gophers. With the longtime starter's eligibility fully exhausted, Morgan ends his Minnesota career second in program history for both career passing yards (9,454) and passing touchdowns (65). It will be worth monitoring Kaliakmanis' injury status given that he'll likely come into 2023 spring practices as the team's starting quarterback.
