JT Daniels - Stepping away from football Daniels has made the decision to medically retire from football, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Daniels has disclosed that after sustaining numerous concussions, doctors have advised him to step away from playing football. The senior quarterback, who spent time with Georgia, West Virginia and Rice, will end his collegiate career with 6,503 passing yards (529-of-827), 51 touchdowns and 21 interceptions. Daniels has expressed interest in entering the coaching space.

Luke McCaffrey - Strong finish to regular season McCaffrey caught 12 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown and rushed two times for 31 yards during Saturday's 24-21 victory over Florida Atlantic.

Impact McCaffery had one of his best outings of the season in Saturday's regular season finale as he caught a season-high 12 passes for 141 yards -- his second most in a game this season -- and a touchdown, his 12th of the season which is tied for the seventh most in the country. AJ Padgett used him as a security blanket all day, as half of his completions and more than half of his yards went to McCaffery. Regardless of who the Owls' play in the team's bowl game, McCaffery is set to be a massive factor.

Boden Groen - Breaks out in Saturday's win Groen caught six passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 24-21 victory against Florida Atlantic.

Impact Groen had by far his best outing of the season in Saturday's regular season finale, as he set season highs in receptions, yards and touchdowns. He has clearly found a connection with AJ Padgett late in the season, and if Padgett starts the Owls' bowl game, Groen could benefit.

Impact Connors had a solid end to the regular season, finishing with 86 total yards on 18 touches. He has now seen double digit touches in each of the last seven games and that has turned into production, as he has 746 total yards and five touchdowns during that stretch. Given his role in the second half of the season, he should be an important factor in the Owls' bowl game.

Two of his touchdowns went to tight end Boden Groen, with the other finding Luke McCaffery to no surprise.
