Jordon Brookshire - Lands starting job Brookshire has emerged from camp as the starter for the season opener against New Mexico State, Kirk Kenney of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Impact Brookshire started toward the end of the 2020 campaign after Lucas Johnson was sidelined and outdueled his counterpart in camp to claim the starting job. The senior compiled just a 2:2 TD:INT ratio and threw for only 410 yards in his three games under center last season, so his upside may be rather limited from a fantasy standpoint even after winning the job.
