Shines in defeat Sanders was 34-for-40 passing for 388 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 31-28 defeat versus Kansas State. He also had nine rushes for -50 yards. Impact Sanders and company came painfully close to pulling off an upset, and one can only speculate what might have happened if Travis Hunter (shoulder) hadn't exited early. Even though Sanders did not have Hunter at his disposal, the other receivers stepped up and delivered. Sanders now ranks fourth in the country with 2018 passing yards, trailing only Jaxson Dart, Cameron Ward and Kyle McCord in the category.
