Leads Broncos to MWC Championship Green completed 12 of 15 passes for 226 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Saturday's 44-20 win over UNLV. He also had eight rushes for 90 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact While Green was effective through the air, he did most of his damage on the ground, rushing for 90 yards and a pair of scores, including a 70-yard touchdown in the second quarter. It's been an up-and-down sophomore campaign for Green, who was benched in favor of Maddux Madsen (leg) midway through the year. However, since reclaiming the starting job following Madsen's injury, Green's thrown for 547 yards with five touchdowns and three interceptions in three games while adding 141 rushing yards with three more scores. Boise State will take on UCLA in the LA Bowl on Dec. 16.

He'll lead the Broncos' offense again next week in the conference championship game vs. UNLV.

Likely QB1 again Green is expected to be the starting quarterback for Boise State's game Saturday at Utah State, B.J. Rains of the Idaho Press-Tribune reports.

Impact Maddux Madsen will be out "for the foreseeable future" due to his leg injury. With that in mind, Green is the favorite to be Boise State's starting quarterback again as the team prepares for Utah State and the Air Force to end its 2023 regular season. Green has 1,498 all-purpose yards (1,205 passing and 293 rushing) and 12 touchdowns so far this year.
