Kwazi Gilmer - Catches first career TDGilmer caught three of five targets for 88 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-20 win against Nebraska.
ImpactGilmer stepped up with a couple of wideouts still injured for the Bruins. The true freshman blew the game open when he got over the top of Nebraska's defense before hauling in a wide-open 48-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He also finished with a team-high in receiving yards, and he tied with tight end Moliki Matavao for a team-high in targets. Gilmer has now accumulated 16 catches (on 23 targets) for 213 yards and a touchdown over the last six games. He's highly unlikely to find many, if any, wide-open targets when UCLA faces an elite Iowa defense this coming Friday.
