Committing to Colorado Taylor has committed to play for Colorado for the 2024 season, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.

Impact Taylor will join the Buffaloes following two years with the Vanderbilt program. The sophomore quarterback appeared in five games for the Commodores in 2023, passing for 44 yards and an interception while adding 103 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Enters transfer portal Taylor has announced, via his personal Twitter account, that he has entered the transfer portal.

Impact Taylor will depart from Vanderbilt after spending the last two seasons with the program. The 6-foot-7 sophomore appeared in five games this season, throwing for 44 passing yards (5-for-15) and one interception. Taylor also added on 102 yards on the ground this season.

Listed as co-starter Taylor is listed as a co-starter for Vanderbilt's game Saturday against Auburn, Aria Gerson of The Tennessean reports.

Impact Taylor and Ken Seals are listed as co-starting quarterbacks. The latter was ineffective during Vanderbilt's latest game, resulting in the former serving as a relief option. Even though he was not so great, Seals' unimpressive output in October may have been enough to push head coach Clark Lea's decision to consider Taylor as a starter should AJ Swann (elbow) not be ready.

Replaces ineffective starter Taylor was 4-for-12 passing for 38 yards and one interception during Saturday's 33-7 loss versus Mississippi. He also had 20 rushes for 59 yards with one touchdown.

Impact Taylor replaced the ineffective Ken Seals, who completed 4-of-8 passes for just 22 yards and a pick of his own. Taylor was not much better in terms of throwing the ball, but did flash his dual-threat ability with the touchdown on the ground. Taylor is likely to at least get a chance against Auburn this weekend.
