Joshua Simon - Questionable but aiming to play Offensive coordinator Zach Kittley indicated Tuesday that Simon (knee) is questionable for Saturday versus Army but hopes to play, Tyler Mansfield of Rivals.com reports.

Impact Simon suffered a knee injury during Saturday's opener versus Tennessee-Martin, but not before he reeled in all three of his targets for 73 yards and a pair of scores. The competition level increases this week and Simon is sill hoping to be available.

Joshua Simon - Injures knee Simon appears to have injured his knee and his status for Saturday's game against Army is unknown, Tyler Mansfield reports.

Impact Western Kentucky coach Tyson Helton shared that the team will need to see how Simon's knee progress over the week. Simon had a strong season opener as he caught two touchdowns and recorded 73 yards, so Simon's loss could be felt if he is unable to play Saturday. Zac Lefebvre will likely see more snaps if Simon is out.

Impact Sterns is one of several players - and one offensive coordinator - that came over from Houston Baptist. Bailey Zappe threw for 424 yards and seven touchdowns under center, and his top target was his former Huskies teammate Sterns.

Impact Moses came into the year on top of the Western Kentucky depth chart at running back. Then, in the season opener, he was a total afterthought. The Hilltoppers had 478 yards and eight touchdowns through the air. This seems like it is going to be a pass-happy offense, and Moses seems like he can be forgotten by fantasy players this year.

Bailey Zappe - Incredible in WKU debut Zappe went 28-for-35 for 424 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception against UT Martin on Thursday. He also rushed two times for 24 yards.

Impact WKU basically brought in the Houston Baptist passing game over this offseason, Zappe included. While this was a matchup with a FCS team, you couldn't ask for a much better start to his time with the Hilltoppers for the quarterback.

Impact Smith recorded four catches for 58 yards and a pair of touchdowns last season before his season came to a halt due to a broken leg. While he's past the leg issue, it appears another injury has propped up that will require attention ahead of the season. It's best to consider him questionable for the opener against UT-Martin until more information surfaces.
