While it was a strong effort from Ferrell, he'll likely remain Wyoming's third option in the backfield if Scott returns in Week 12.

Impact Sargent quickly emerged as Kaden Anderson's go-to option Saturday before hauling in a 68-yard touchdown that put the Cowboys ahead 28-21 in the second quarter. The junior Sargent hadn't had more than two catches in a game coming into the day, totaling just 131 yards and a touchdown on eight grabs in his first eight contests. With Anderson likely to remain under center, Sargent should see a significant uptick in production down the stretch.

Impact It was an eye-popping performance from Anderson in his first collegiate start, as the redshirt freshman led Wyoming to a comeback win after entering the fourth quarter down 45-35. The Cowboys had only scored more than 30 points in a game once this season prior to Saturday. It's safe to say Anderson will be back under center following a bye in Week 12 against CSU.

Impact The Cowboys certainly didn't waste any getting Waylee involved in his first game this season. With Sam Scott (undisclosed) unavailable, the senior Waylee led Wyoming with 27 touches while posting his highest yardage total since Week 5 last season, when he ran for 191 yards (also against New Mexico). Even if Scott does return following a bye in Week 12 versus Colorado State, Waylee should still see a substantial workload.

Impact Svoboda struggled while splitting reps with Kaden Anderson on Saturday, completing just two passes while throwing his seventh interception of the year. Svoboda, who's completed just 46.7 percent of his passes for 1,015 yards this season, will likely retreat to the bench next week with Anderson expected to start versus New Mexico.

Impact Losing King is a huge blow for Wyoming, as the sophomore wideout has done a good job in an inconsistent passing attack. King has 16 catches for 228 yards across eight games this season, and his next chance to play will come against Colorado State on Nov. 15 after the bye week.
