John Michael Gyllenborg - Massive day vs. Spartans Gyllenborg posted five receptions (on nine targets) for 137 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 24-14 defeat against San Jose State.

Impact It was a breakout effort from the junior tight end, highlighted by a 63-yard touchdown grab in the fourth quarter, his first score of the season. The 6-foot-5 Gyllenborg has proven to be one of the more reliable options in Wyomings' passing attack, totaling 18 receptions for 311 yards this season.

Harrison Waylee - Not expected to be available Waylee (knee) is not expected to be available during Wyoming's game Saturday against Utah State, Cody Tucker of 7220Sports.com reports.

Impact Waylee not being expected to be available is a huge letdown considering his previous update back in September. However, there is a chance he can play again this season, albeit while trying to redshirt 2024.

Evan Svoboda - Will split reps vs. Utah State Svoboda will be part of a two-quarterback system against Utah State, per 7220 Sports.

Impact Svoboda has been Wyoming's starter throughout most of the season, but it seems the coaching staff is willing to try new things due to the lack of consistency from both signal callers. Svoboda has logged seven appearances for Wyoming this season, completing just 47.4 percent of his passes while posting a 4:6 TD:INT. Those are far from encouraging numbers.

Kaden Anderson - Will get a shot against Utah State Anderson will be part of a two-quarterback system against Utah State, per 7220 Sports.

Impact Anderson has played sparingly in several games this season, completing 13-of-23 passes for 195 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The quarterback will now be part of a committee system as Wyoming desperately tries to find stable play from its signal callers. He'll split time with Evan Svoboda under center for the Cowboys in Week 9.

The 6-foot-2 wideout had just four receptions for 35 yards in five games coming into Saturday's contest. Sargent isn't likely to offer consistent production going forward in what's been a tepid Wyoming passing offense.

Impact Scott continues to make the most of his chance to lead the Wyoming backfield -- the junior's now rushed for 191 yards with a pair of touchdowns in his last two games. Scott should serve as the Cowboys' go-to option again next week against San Jose State, though he'll likely fall into a committee with Harrison Waylee (knee) scheduled to return the following week against Utah State.

However, the 230-pound junior has made a case to remain a part of a committee for the Cowboys moving forward.
