Impact Matsuyama was unable to carry the momentum on his first two rounds where he shot 67-68 into the weekend. Despite making five birdies during his final round, Matsuyama made four bogeys and a double bogey to go along with it. However, Matusyama did rank sixth for the week in SG: Tee-to-green so his ball striking is on ahead of the Memorial Tournament - where he picked up his first PGA Tour victory in 2014.
