No pain in surgically repaired wrist Spieth said he has no pain in his surgically repaired left wrist, ESPN reports. Impact Spieth underwent wrist surgery in August after struggling with a wrist issue for much of the last couple years. It really seemed to affect his golf game last season when he finished top-25 in just one of his last 14 events. Spieth said he will continue to do therapy through the new year and wants to "be prepared to play three weeks in a row." Spieth did not say when he will return to action, but his first chance to play on the PGA Tour would be Jan. 9-12 at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
