Posts four rounds in the 60s Hughes posted a four-under 66 on Sunday at the Texas Children's Houston Open to finish in 10th place.

Impact Although Hughes was never in contention to win, he had a consistent week with four consecutive rounds in the 60s and only carded four bogeys across 72 holes. He stood out statistically by ranking fourth for the tournament in SG: Off-the-tee and T5 in driving accuracy. Following a slow start to the year, Hughes has posted a pair of top-25 finishes over his last four starts.

Struggles off the tee at PGA National Hughes recorded a two-day total of one-over-par to miss the cut at this past week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches by six shots.

Impact Hughes managed to lose 3.1 strokes off the tee throughout his 36 holes at PGA National, hitting only 13 of 28 fairways in regulation in the process. The momentum stalled from there, however, as he only carded one more birdie the rest of the day and had to settle for a top-5 finish. In his usual form, Hughes was led by his short game, ranking second in SG: Around the green and first in putting for the tournament.

Impact Hughes put together his best round of the week on Sunday and that propelled him up the leaderboard 23 places from where he started.
