Puts together a strong showing Lowry finished in solo third place after an even-par 72 in the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational on Sunday. Impact Lowry had good momentum after a T4 at the Cognizant Classic last week. He came into this week with little expectations after being given a coveted sponsor exemption into this Signature Event and with a horrid record at Bay Hill. Things just clicked right out of the gate with a 66 in round one and he held strong throughout. Lowry was paired with Scottie Scheffler in the final group tied for the lead, but it was apparent early on that the No. 1 ranked player was just in a different league. Lowry didn't have his best stuff on Sunday, but continued to grind and picked up a ton of points and dollars with the solo third. He will look for another top-five showing at The Players Championship next week.
