Gets fourth career PGA Tour victory Kim won the Sony Open in Hawaii by one stroke over Hayden Buckley after shooting a six-under 64 in the final round. Impact Kim got off to a dream start on Sunday when he opened birdie-birdie-birdie. He was the nearest competitor to Hayden Buckley for most of the day and was finally able to catch him with a huge chip-in at the par-3 17th hole. A heroic fairway bunker shot at the par-5 18th set up an easy two-putt chance and he had to watch Buckley play the final hole needing a birdie to force a playoff. Buckley just missed an 11-footer and Kim was able to pick up his fourth career PGA Tour victory. Kim led the field in SG: Approach and SG: Tee-to-Green, showing some very improved ball-striking work in the offseason. He will now head to the American Express next week, which was the site of his previous win back in 2021.
