ABOUT THE 2023 WORLD SERIES
The race to the 2023 World Series championship came down to a matchup between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers. Both teams entered the MLB playoffs as wild-card teams and won a seven game series in the league championship round to reach the Fall Classic. The Rangers won their first ever World Series title after five games. Shortstop Corey Seager took home his second World Series MVP. He's only the fourth player to ever win multiple World Series MVPs.
