Allows five in loss Houser (7-6) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts through five innings, taking the loss in Saturday's 6-4 defeat to the Twins.

Impact This was a perplexing outing for Houser. Through three innings, the right-hander was working on a no-hitter. In the fourth, the Twins sent 10 men to the plate and scored four times, as Houser gave up three hits, three walks and hit a batter. But baseball is weird, and the 28-year-old followed that clunker of an inning up with a three-pitch frame in the fifth, retiring Jorge Polanco, Josh Donaldson and Max Kepler on back-to-back-to-back offerings. Regardless of the oddities associated with this start, the five runs are a letdown, as Houser entered play having allowed just one earned run in his last 16.2 innings.

Impact Houser began feeling symptoms earlier Friday before the positive test came in. The right-hander is the ninth Milwaukee player to be placed on the COVID-19 list in the past 11 days. Even though there's been a few bumps on the road at times, Houser is undefeated in that seven-game stretch -- a span in which he's gone 2-0 with a 3.26 ERA and a 1.29 WHIP. He's slated to pitch again next week at home against the Reds.
