Improves to 5-2 Senzatela (5-2) picked up the win Sunday against the Dodgers, allowing one run on three hits and two walks across 6.1 innings. He struck out three.
Impact After allowing just one run in a complete game against Oakland in his last start, Senzatela was able to stymie yet another division leader Sunday. Though he fanned just three, the right-hander was able to keep Los Angeles off the board through six innings. He recorded an out to start the seventh, but he was pulled after allowing consecutive one-out walks. The 25-year-old was charged with a run when Yency Almonte allowed an RBI single to Edwin Rios. Sentazela will take a solid 3.13 ERA into his start against Arizona on Friday.

Dominates A's in complete game Senzatela (4-2) went the distance in Tuesday's win over the Athletics, allowing one run on six hits and a walk while striking out three.
Impact Senzatela's only hiccup came in the second inning when Tony Kemp's sacrifice fly scored Jake Lamb. The right-handed Senzatela threw 74 of his 109 pitches for strikes in his first major-league complete game. He lowered his ERA to 3.30 with a 1.15 WHIP and 34:12 K:BB across 62.2 innings this season. The 25-year-old's next start is expected to be Sunday at home versus the Dodgers.

Impact Senzatela got off to a shaky start, allowing a hit to three of the first four batters he faced -- including a two-run homer. Things got better from there, though he lost his control when he came back out for the sixth inning as he walked two and also allowed a single and triple. That resulted in the additional runs against him, ruining his otherwise solid outing. Even after this effort, he's maintained a 3.69 ERA with a 33:11 K:BB across 53.2 frames for the season. Senzatela will take his next turn through the rotation Wednesday against the Athletics.

Impact After giving up a solo home run to Max Muncy in the first inning, Senzatela held the Dodgers at bay until the sixth, when Corey Seager snuck in another run to tie the game with an RBI single. That would be the last damage of the night charged to Senzatela, though unfortunately the Rockies came up short in the end. The right-hander has now allowed seven homers this season, five of which have been against the Dodgers. Senzatela will carry a 3.33 ERA and 1.13 WHIP into a Wednesday matchup at San Diego.
