Impact Senzatela's outing was bookended with runs -- he surrendered a Christian Walker RBI single in the first inning and a Daulton Varsho solo shot in the seventh -- but kept Arizona off the board in the middle innings thanks in part to a pair of double plays. The 27-year-old has now permitted three runs or fewer in four starts since returning from a stint on the injured list due to a shoulder injury, during which he's registered a 4.01 ERA in 24.2 innings. Senzatela possesses a 4.68 ERA and 1.70 WHIP with 50 strikeouts in 84.2 innings across 17 starts. He's currently scheduled for a rematch with Arizona next weekend.

Impact Senzatela left his last start after getting hit by a comebacker in his left foot, but he was able to shake off the minor injury without missing time. He had a rough first inning Monday, allowing a solo home run to Jurickson Profar and two more runs before settling to keep the Padres from adding to their lead over the next five frames. The right-hander has now gone five starts without a win, allowing at least three runs in each of those games. He has a 4.87 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 48:20 K:BB in 77.2 innings across 16 starts. Senzatela is projected for a road start in Arizona this weekend.

He gave up home runs off the bats of Willy Adames and Andrew McCutchen in the third before leaving the game after 95 pitches and five innings of work. The 27-year-old right-hander has struggled all season long and ranks in the lowest first percentile of all pitchers in xBA. Senzatela came into the game with a .356 opponent batting average. It doesn't appear that the Rockies have many alternatives so he is expected to take the mound again against the White Sox on Wednesday.

Impact Senzatela was activated Friday as expected, returning to the rotation after he was placed on the 15-day IL on July 2 while suffering from right shoulder inflammation. The right-hander owns a 4.95 ERA and 1.80 WHIP with 34 punchouts over 60 innings in 13 starts this season.
