Impact Sewald came on in the top of the ninth frame with Arizona holding a tenuous one-run lead. He issued a free pass with one out but retired the next two batters to seal the deal. Sewald blew his first save opportunity with Arizona on Aug. 6 but has gone a perfect 7-for-7 since, posting eight scoreless innings and a 9:5 K:BB over that span.

Impact Kelly allowed only one baserunner across seven scoreless innings of work while striking out 12. Impact Kelly pitched a brilliant game, throwing seven scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out 12. He needed just 86 pitches to do so and was warming up to prepare for his eighth frame of work. However, trainers came to the mound and Kelly exited shortly thereafter. For now, the issue appears to be relatively minor, though more details will emerge.

Dominic Fletcher - Lands on minor-league IL Fletcher (undisclosed) was placed on the 7-day minor-league injured list Thursday, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Impact Fletcher was optioned to Triple-A Reno in early July and has maintained a .252 average with seven home runs, 25 RBI and 35 runs scored in 31 games since.
