Jordan Lawlar - Removed for pinch hitter Lawlar started at shortstop and went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before he was removed for a pinch hitter in Monday's 4-3 win over the Mets.

Impact Lawlar returned to the lineup after a one-day break due to a minor hand injury. The right-handed hitter was pinch hit for in the sixth inning against righty reliever Sean Reid-Foley, the first time manager Torey Lovullo has removed the young shortstop from a game. Lawlar is hitless over the last 11 at-bats with seven strikeouts.

Emmanuel Rivera - Leaves with shoulder injury Rivera exited Monday's win over the Mets with a shoulder injury, MLB.com reports.

Impact Rivera, who started at third base, made an awkward attempt to catch a foul ball near the stands and ran into the tarp. He stayed in the game for another inning before being removed. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo believes Rivera is fine and described him as day-to-day. He was replaced at third base by Jace Peterson.
