Zach Davies - Placed on 15-day injured list Davies was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Diamondbacks on Sunday with a strained left oblique.

Impact Davies injured his oblique during Saturday's start against the Dodgers. The right-hander will likely miss at least a few weeks while recovering, and there's a good chance he won't make another start for Arizona in the month of April. Peter Solomon has been recalled from Reno in a corresponding move.

José Ruiz - Traded from White Sox The Diamondbacks acquired Ruiz on Sunday from the White Sox for cash considerations.

Impact Ruiz was designated for assignment by the White Sox on Friday and finds a new home a few days later. The right-hander struggled mightily before being removed from the roster while allowing nine earned runs over 3.2 innings from four relief appearances. He'll have a chance to help the Arizona bullpen as a middle-inning option.

Impact Los Angeles jumped out to an early four-run lead before Perdomo brought Arizona within a run with his two-run shot to right field in the second inning. The shortstop later doubled in a score in the seventh to provide the Diamondbacks with a four-run cushion. The second-inning long ball was Perdomo's first of the season, and he leads Arizona with seven RBI in just six games. Perdomo is slashing an impressive .455/.625/1.000 through 17 plate appearances.

Impact Davies looked to be in immediate pain after throwing a pitch in the fifth inning. The right-hander will all but assuredly be placed on the injured list, and the question now will be how long Davies will miss and what arm will replace him. It's worth noting that Brandon Pfaadt started for Triple-A Reno on Saturday, so he could be the natural replacement.
