Impact Walker was back in the lineup after getting a day off Sunday. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo talked to per Alex Weiner of Arizona Sports on Monday about giving Walker downtime following his return from an oblique injury. "Yesterday I took [Christian] Walker out of the lineup... It's probably about three or four days too late to give him a day off, talking to the medical team," Lovullo said. Walker should be available for the final five games of the season.

Impact Perdomo moved up the order to bat second, as Ketel Marte was held out of the starting lineup in a preventative measure. The double was the career-high 21st for Perdomo, who also has career-bests in average (.276) and slugging (.382). This is not the same hitter that batted .195 in 2022, his first full season in the majors.

Eduardo Rodriguez - Handed fourth loss Rodriguez (3-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out eight over 4.2 innings to take the loss versus the Giants on Monday.
Impact Rodriguez gave up three home runs, including an inside-the-park one by Matt Chapman in the third inning that put the Giants ahead. Impact Guillorme was designated for assignment by the D-Backs on Friday and will report to the Aces after failing to draw interest on waivers.
