Impact The 25-year-old began the rehab stint Tuesday with High-A Rome and threw 45 pitches over four scoreless innings, and he'll move up to Triple-A for his next outing. Soroka hasn't pitched in the majors since 2020 and is likely to require a couple more rehab starts after Sunday before potentially being activated by Atlanta in early September.

Impact Since Adrianza has been on the IL for less than a week, he likely won't need more than one or two games in the minors to get comfortable at the plate and in the field. Atlanta was likely just keeping Tarnok on hand as an insurance option in case neither Max Fried (concussion) or Kyle Wright (arm) was able to start this week, but Fried will take the hill for Thursday's series finale with the Mets, while Wright will go Friday against Houston. Impact Right-hander Freddy Tarnok was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett to open up room on the active roster for Fried, who will make his first start since Aug. 6 after clearing MLB's concussion protocol. He has hit safely in seven out of eight of the games he has played in this year with multi-hit efforts in five of those. The rookie also now has 30 stolen bases across all levels this season. He is looking like a stud for the Braves, and it will be interesting to see how skipper Brian Snitker handles Grissom and infield duties once Ozzie Albies returns.
