Cedric Mullins - Nursing quad tightness Mullins was lifted from Saturday's game against the Marlins in the second inning due to right quad tightness, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Impact Mullins came up lame while running from first base to third base on a foul ball and had to be removed for a pinch runner. The Orioles could offer more on a potential timetable for the outfielder after the game, but it would certainly seem to be an injury capable of sending Mullins to the injured list.

Cedric Mullins - Exits game with injury Mullins was removed from Saturday's game versus the Marlins with an apparent injury, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Impact Mullins appeared to tweak something while running from first to third on a foul ball hit by Jordan Westburg in the second inning and was replaced by a pinch-runner. He missed nearly a month of action earlier this season with a groin injury, although it's not clear if that's what he's dealing with this time around.

Impact Frazier hits the bench against lefty Braxton Garrett. With the Orioles' infield getting crowded by the arrival of multiple prospects, Frazier has seen his playing time slip. He hasn't started against a southpaw since May and has only started against two of the last four righties the Orioles have faced. Jordan Westburg will start at second base Saturday.

Impact Cowser started four consecutive games after getting called up for his MLB debut on July 5, but he's since sat for three straight contests. This particular off day comes against a lefty (Braxton Garrett), so it's no surprise to see Cowser head to the bench, though the previous two came against right-handers. Aaron Hicks will get another start in right field.

Impact Stowers hit .560 with four home runs in seven rehab games, split between the Florida Complex League and High-A Aberdeen. The 25-year-old outfielder hit .067 with a 36.4 percent strikeout rate in 33 plate appearances for the big club earlier this year. He may have missed his chance to carve out a role, as the big-league outfield is pretty crowded following the recent promotion of top prospect Colton Cowser.

Adam Frazier - Goes yard twice in win Frazier went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.

Impact The veteran utility player fueled the Baltimore offense with a solo shot off Sandy Alcantara in the fourth inning and a two-run blast on a Bryan Hoeing sinker in the eighth that stayed up in the strike zone. Frazier has a career-high 12 homers on the season in only 84 games, but with youngsters Gunnar Henderson, Jordan Westburg and Colton Cowser all pushing for everyday spots in the lineup, the 31-year-old's .240/.305/.424 slash line may not be good enough to maintain consistent playing time on a crowded O's roster.

Cedric Mullins - Finds power stroke Mullins went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.

Impact The center fielder took Sandy Alcantara deep in the fourth inning, giving Mullins his first homer since he returned in late June from a nearly month-long absence due to a groin injury. The steal was also his first since late May, and Mullins had been slashing just .192/.279/.269 in 14 games since rejoining the lineup. If the 28-year-old is now fully healthy coming out of the All-Star break, a big second half could be on the horizon.

Félix Bautista - Nails down 24th save Bautista struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 24th save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Marlins.

Impact The right-hander continues to dominate. Bautista has struck out multiple batters in 13 of 14 appearances since the beginning of June, posting a 0.56 ERA, 0.50 WHIP and incredible 32:2 K:BB through 16 innings over that stretch while converting 10 of 11 save chances. He now sits three saves behind major-league leader Camilo Doval's 27.

Dean Kremer - Sharp in win No. 10 Kremer (10-4) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over six innings in a 5-2 victory over the Marlins. He struck out eight.

Impact The right-hander generated 30 called or swinging strikes among his 97 pitches en route to his ninth quality start of the year. Kremer has had some issues keeping the ball in the park lately, but that's been the only thing standing between him and a true breakout. In eight starts since the beginning of June he's posted a 4.60 ERA and 2.2 HR/9, but also a 1.18 WHIP and 52:10 K:BB through 45 innings. He lines up for a tough test in his next outing, which is likely to come at home next week against the Dodgers.
