Heston Kjerstad - Getting some work at first base Kjerstad has been getting some reps at first base this spring, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact He's not expected to see any action there during Grapefruit League play because of how many other first basemen the Orioles have in camp, but perhaps Kjerstad will get some reps at the position this year in the minors. The 24-year-old has only played the outfield so far in his pro career but did handle first base for a few games in college at Arkansas.

Coby Mayo - Reassigned to minor-league camp The Orioles reassigned Mayo to minor-league camp Thursday, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact Mayo slashed just .143/.188/.214 through his 16 plate appearances this spring. He was able to reach Double-A ball last season, where he posted a .745 OPS across 149 plate appearances, and will likely return there to begin the 2023 campaign.
