Impact Aguilar's eighth-inning solo shot got the Orioles within a run, and he added an RBI single in the ninth to put them ahead by two. That latter hit proved key, as Toronto was able to get one run back but fell just short of forcing extra innings. Aguilar has multiple hits in two of his last three games, but he hasn't sen steady playing time since he joined the Orioles at the start of September. The veteran first baseman is slashing .233/.280/.381 with 16 homers, 51 RBI, 38 runs scored and a stolen base through 122 contests between Baltimore and Miami this year.

Joey Krehbiel - Collects win Sunday Krehbiel (5-4) pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the win Sunday over the Blue Jays.
Impact Krehbiel worked the eighth inning and ended up in line for the win when the Orioles rallied ahead in the ninth. Through six outings spanning 6.1 innings in September, Krehbiel has given up two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out seven. The 29-year-old righty has maintained a 3.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 43:15 K:BB while adding a save and 10 holds through 54 innings this year. He remains in a mid-leverage role, though he's unlikely to be in the mix for ancillary save chances when regular closer Felix Bautista is unavailable.

Félix Bautista - Picks up 14th save Bautista recorded the save Sunday in Toronto, allowing a run on a hit and two walks while striking out one in the ninth inning of a 5-4 win.
Impact Bautista retired the first two batters before issuing a walk and allowing a run-scoring double to make it a 5-4 game. After another walk he got Bo Bichette to ground out to end the game. It was his 14th save in 15 tries and his fourth save in September. He's been a little shaky in his last four outings, allowing a couple of runs and walking four batters in five innings of work.

Dean Kremer - Navigates lack of control Sunday Kremer allowed two runs on four hits, five walks and a hit batsman while striking out three in 5.2 innings in a 5-4 win Sunday in Toronto. He did not factor into the decision.
Impact Kremer managed to give up just two runs despite allowing 10 of the 25 batters he faced to reach safely. A line-drive triple play in the third inning ended one threat, as did some timely groundouts. After walking 11.3 percent of batters in his first two big-league seasons, the 26-year-old had demonstrated excellent control over his first 99.2 innings this year, walking only 5.4 percent of opponents. Sunday's five walks were his most of the season and just the second time he walked more than two in an outing. His next start will likely be next weekend against Houston.

Impact Vavra got the nod in left field Saturday after two-plus weeks as a bench bat. He supplied an RBI single in the eighth inning for the last run of the game. He's gone 4-for-10 with one RBI and one run scored across seven contests in September, but there doesn't appear to be a regular path to playing time for the 25-year-old. He's slashing .273/.344/.345 with eight RBI, nine runs scored, two doubles and a triple through 64 plate appearances.
