Impact Arauz had started in three of the Orioles' last five games and went 1-for-9 with a pair of RBI, but he looks poised to lose out on his strong-side platoon role at third base now that Ramon Urias is back in action after a stint on the 10-day injured list. Instead, Arauz looks poised to fill a utility role moving forward and may only occasionally fill in for one of Urias, Jorge Mateo or Rougned Odor.

Impact Bradish will take another step forward in his recovery from right shoulder inflammation after he most recently completed a bullpen session Sunday, but the upcoming simulated game will take him out of the running from coming off the 15-day injured list this week. If all goes well when he faces hitters later this week though, Bradish could bypass a minor-league rehab assignment and slot back into the Baltimore rotation shortly before the All-Star break.

Ryan Mountcastle - Out due to sinus issue Mountcastle is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers due to a sinus issue, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.

Impact Mountcastle's ailment doesn't sound like a major concern, as the Orioles are likely just erring on the side of caution by withholding him from the lineup while he's under the weather. Adley Rutschman will serve as Baltimore's designated hitter while Mountcastle takes a seat, opening up a starting role behind the plate for No. 2 backstop Robinson Chirinos.

Impact The injury could result in Mateo getting a day off later this week, but he evidently checked out fine during his pregame workout Tuesday and was cleared to stick in the lineup for the second game in a row. Mateo's speed is his top tool, but he hasn't even attempted a steal in any of his last nine games. He's at least provided two home runs over that span to salvage some fantasy value, though he batted just .174.

Austin Hays - Out Tuesday with wrist injury Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Hays is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rangers due to a right wrist injury, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Impact Hays is considered day-to-day due to the injury, which he sustained when he was hit by a pitch in Monday's 7-6 win. He could be available off the bench, but because the outfielder was sporting a wrap on his hand, the Orioles could be inclined to stay away from him, per Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. Ryan McKenna will pick up a start in the outfield in place of Hays.

Rougned Odor - Collects three hits Odor went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Rangers.

Impact Odor hadn't posted a multi-hit game since June 16, going just 4-for-34 (.118) in 12 contests during that slump. He's showed signs of turning things around with hits in five of his last seven games. The second baseman is slashing .206/.263/.399 with eight home runs, 30 RBI, 28 runs scored, 13 doubles and three triples through 243 plate appearances. He should maintain a regular role in the lineup over Jonathan Arauz, who has mainly played third base since joining the Orioles after he was claimed off waivers from the Red Sox.

Bryan Baker - Snags win Monday Baker (3-3) walked one and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the extra-inning win over the Rangers on Monday.

Impact Baker issued a one-out walk but ultimately had no trouble keeping the score tied at 6-6 in the top of the 10th inning. Impact Martin joined the Orioles' major-league roster June 11 and saw sporadic playing time during his time in the big leagues.
