Dillon Tate - Earns second save Tate pitched a perfect ninth inning with two strikeouts to earn the save in a 3-1 over the Twins on Sunday.

Impact The Orioles setup man was called in to protect a two-run lead in a save situation after closer Jorge Lopez struggled his last couple of times out. Lopez gave up four earned runs on 0.1 innings pitched over his past two appearances to blow two saves and be tagged with two losses. It appears as if Orioles manager Brandon Hyde wanted to give Lopez a breather, and with Felix Bautista having pitched in two straight, Tate got the call.

Rougned Odor - Jacks solo shot Odor went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 3-1 win over the Twins on Sunday.

Impact Odor's home run to open the scoring in the fifth was his eighth of the season. The veteran second baseman has shown a bit of pop despite struggling at the plate overall this season. Odor has never been a high-average hitter, and his .197/.256/.390 slash line in 2022 puts him in the lower tier of MLB. He appears to have a secure role with the Orioles due to the team needing a veteran to take at-bats as younger teammates like Ryan Mountcastle and Adley Rutschman develop.

Jorge López - Blows save and picks up loss Lopez (3-5) blew the save and took the loss Saturday against the Twins, allowing two runs on four hits while striking out one and walking none over one-third of an inning.

Impact Jorge Lopez allowed a home run to Jorge Polanco to tie the game, followed by a walk-off single to Jose Miranda that scored Alex Kirilloff, giving the reliever a blown save and a loss. Lopez now has a blown save and a loss in back-to-back appearances. Before giving up four earned runs in his last two appearances, the righty had not allowed an earned run since May 19.
