Spenser Watkins - Remains in rotation Watkins is listed as the Orioles' scheduled starting pitcher for Friday's game in Minnesota, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Impact Unsurprisingly, Watkins will draw a second straight turn through the rotation after he allowed an unearned run while striking out four over five innings in his start over the White Sox last weekend. The right-hander should hold down a starting role for the Orioles until Kyle Bradish (shoulder) is ready to come off the 15-day injured list.

Kyle Bradish - Throwing on field Wednesday Bradish (shoulder) is throwing on the field ahead of Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

Impact Bradish landed on the 15-day IL with right shoulder inflammation Friday but has been able to throw on the field over the last several days. Manager Brandon Hyde still hopes that the right-hander will return from the injured list around when he's first eligible.

Richie Martin - Notches steal as pinch runner Martin posted a stolen base as a pinch runner in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Mariners.

Impact Martin ran for Robinson Chirinos after the latter was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning. The steal was Martin's third in the last four games, but he'll have a tough time to adding to his total if he can't hit his way into more playing time. The 27-year-old is slashing only .179/.233/.321 with three steals, three RBI, four runs scored and a pair of triples through 30 plate appearances. Rougned Odor is likely to get most of the starts at second base, while Jorge Mateo occupies an everyday role in Martin's natural position at shortstop.

Adley Rutschman - Records steal in loss Rutschman went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Mariners.

Impact Rutschman drew a fourth-inning walk and then stole second as Ryan Mountcastle swiped third. This steal goes down as Rutschman's first in the majors, though he only posted four thefts across parts of three campaigns in the minors. Cionel Pérez - Takes first loss Perez (4-1) allowed a run on one hit and struck out two in two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss Tuesday versus the Mariners.

Impact Perez put J.P. Crawford aboard with two outs in the eighth inning. Felix Bautista then gave up a pair of hits, allowing two runs to score, with the decisive one going on Perez's line for his first loss of the year.
