Collects first win as Met Carrasco (1-2) picked up the win in Tuesday's 9-4 victory over the Marlins, giving up four runs (one earned) on seven hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four. Impact The veteran right-hander didn't get much help from his defense and exited the game after 92 pitches (61 strikes) with the score tied 4-4, but the Mets made it up to him by taking the lead for good in the top of the sixth inning while Carrasco was still the pitcher of record. While his 5.88 ERA on the season looks ugly, he's lasted at least five innings in each of his last four starts, posting a 3.63 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 20:3 K:BB through 22.1 innings over that stretch.
