Strong performance in rehab start Carrasco (hamstring) allowed two hits and no walks while striking out six in three scoreless innings in Sunday's rehab start at Triple-A Syracuse. Impact Carrasco only needed 38 pitches to get through his outing Sunday, and he threw 32 strikes across three frames. Manager Luis Rojas was impressed with the right-hander's performance, and the skipper said that "there's a chance" Carrasco's next outing could come with the major-league club, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Regardless of whether Carrasco makes his next appearance at Triple-A Syracuse or with the big-league club, he's only stretched out to pitch about four innings.
