Impact Morel had a good day at the plate but struggled on the bases, as he was picked off first and also caught stealing for the fifth time this season in 14 chances. Despite those missteps, it was still a productive fantasy performance for the rookie from the leadoff spot. Morel will likely have his share of growing pains the rest of the way, but he's batting .283 and playing regularly, so he's worth a look in most formats.

Impact Velazquez drew the start in left field during Sunday's matchup and gave the Cubs some insurance with his home run in the top of the fourth inning. Although Sunday's start was his first since the All-Star break, the 23-year-old has homered three times over the three games since the Cubs returned to action. During that time, he's gone 4-for-6 with three homers, seven RBI and five runs. Impact Gomes put the Cubs on the board with his solo blast in the top of the third inning, and he extended the team's lead with another solo homer in the next frame. The 35-year-old didn't appear in any of the last three games since Willson Contreras has been used more as a catcher than as a designated hitter recently. Impact Robertson, Chicago's primary closer, was called in for the ninth inning during a tied game.
