Pete Crow-Armstrong - Returning to action Saturday Crow-Armstrong (hand) will return to the lineup at High-A South Bend on Saturday, Patrick Mooney of The Athletic reports.
Impact Crow-Armstrong sustained a bruise on the back of his hand last week but will bat leadoff and play center field Saturday after missing two weeks. Over nine games since being promoted to South Bend, the 20-year-old has hit .205 with two homers, a triple, three doubles, seven runs and five RBI.

Impact Stroman's throwing session Saturday marked the second time he's thrown off a mound since landing on the injured list, and he tested his full pitch repertoire during the bullpen. The Cubs return home next week, and the right-hander should have a chance to join the team to throw live BP.

Impact Suzuki reported to the Cubs' spring training complex in Arizona on Monday and recently resumed hitting in the batting cage. He'll now progress to face live pitching, which could be one of the final steps in his recovery process prior to returning to game action. The 27-year-old has been on the injured list since May 30, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him require a rehab assignment prior to rejoining the Cubs.

Impact Gomes will be making his fourth straight start, as the Cubs are using both him and Willson Contreras together regularly. Despite the playing time, Gomes hasn't been a great fantasy option with a .606 OPS and just three home runs and eight RBI across 35 games.

Impact This was the third time this year Hendricks has completed at least seven innings without allowing a run.
