José Abreu - Racks up three hits in win Abreu went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Astros.
Impact Abreu has multiple hits in six of his last 10 games, batting .410 (16-for-39) in that span. The first baseman has just one extra-base hit, a double, in that stretch, and he's posted a 2:10 BB:K. Despite the lack of power, he's finding ways to remain productive. The 35-year-old is up to a .307/.382/.466 slash line with 14 home runs, 56 RBI, 64 runs scored and 28 doubles through 498 plate appearances.

Impact The White Sox pulled ahead in the eighth inning and Hendriks made the one-run lead stick. This was the eighth straight appearance in which he's picked up a save, and he's allowed just one run in eight innings in that span. Hendriks appears to be over his late-July struggles. The White Sox's closer has a 2.95 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB while converting 27 of 30 save chances in 42.2 innings this year.

Dylan Cease - Impressive run ends versus Houston Cease allowed three runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Tuesday.
Impact Entering Tuesday, Cease hadn't allowed multiple earned runs in 14 straight starts. The Astros ended that impressive stretch with a pair of RBI doubles in the third inning, and Jose Altuve tacked on a solo home run in the fifth. Cease was spared from taking the loss as the White Sox rallied for the lead and held on to win. His ERA rose slightly to 2.09 with a 1.17 WHIP and 178:68 K:BB through 133.2 innings across 24 starts this year. He's tentatively projected for a road start in Cleveland this weekend.
