ImpactBaldwin, a 23-year-old shortstop has gotten off to a hot start through his first two games with Charlotte, going 4-for-7 with a solo home run and a walk. The switch hitter earned his way to Triple-A after slashing .322/.386/.441 with six home runs and 16 stolen bases over 74 games with Birmingham.

Chad Kuhl - Works in long relief ThursdayKuhl tossed 4.1 innings out of the bullpen in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Guardians, striking out one batter while giving up three runs (two earned) on five hits and four walks.

ImpactIn his previous appearance June 27, Kuhl made his first start of the season with the White Sox, working three scoreless innings in a no-decision against Atlanta. Kuhl was merely getting a spot start amid a busy portion of the White Sox's schedule, as he returned to a mop-up role out of the bullpen a week later. With the Chicago rotation at full strength with the exception of Mike Clevinger (elbow) -- who appears close to a return from the injured list -- Kuhl isn't expected to get any chances to start again in the near future.

JT Chargois - Nabs first win of seasonChargois (1-0) picked up the win Sunday over the White Sox, giving up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning.

ImpactThe right-hander was called in with the Marlins down 4-3 in the top of the ninth, and Chargois got rewarded for his efforts when Jake Burger walked it off with a three-run homer in the bottom of the frame. Chargois has been very effective since making his season debut in mid-June, posting a 1.69 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 9:4 K:BB through 10.2 innings, and he could be working his way into the high-leverage mix for the Marlins.

Jordan Leasure - Back up with big clubThe White Sox recalled Leasure from Triple-A Charlotte, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

ImpactLeasure was optioned nearly a month ago following a rough stretch which saw him allowing six runs over his last 3.2 innings. He held a 2.52 ERA prior to that, albeit with a 22:14 K:BB across 25 frames. Leasure is a candidate for high-leverage innings eventually but could be eased into such situations.
