Impact The 31-year-old was diagnosed with a small fracture in his left foot Tuesday, and it was only a matter of time before he shifted to the injured list. Dealing with foot fracture Taylor said Tuesday's CT scan revealed a small fracture in his left foot, and he'll be placed on the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Impact Taylor originally suffered the injury Saturday and sat out Sunday before rejoining the lineup Monday, but he exited that contest and is now set to miss some time. The 31-year-old will be eligible to return prior to the start of the All-Star break July 17, but he's more likely to be sidelined for at least the few weeks. Trayce Thompson and Jake Lamb are likely to see upticks in playing time during Taylor's absence.

According to Kirsten Watson of SportsNet LA, Taylor underwent a CT scan Tuesday, though the results are not yet known. Jake Lamb will start in left field and bat seventh Tuesday for Los Angeles.

Impact Taylor didn't start Sunday, but he entered the game as a pinch hitter for Eddy Alvarez in the seventh inning. In his first two at-bats, Taylor hit singles, scoring in the ninth inning, and he added a go-ahead RBI double in the 11th that accounted for the winning run. This was the utility man's fifth multi-hit effort in 21 games in June. He's batted .257 (19-for-74) this month and is slashing .254/.332/.440 with six home runs, 27 RBI, 30 runs scored and six steals in 67 contests overall. He remains the Dodgers' top left fielder this year, and he should continue to play consistently.
