ImpactYnoa completed his last rehab outing Wednesday, throwing 83 pitches while striking out seven across 4.2 innings. He also allowed three runs on four hits and four walks, but the team is confident enough in his form to activate him in the coming days. Prior to hitting the injured list May 17, Ynoa had maintained a 3.02 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 50 strikeouts across 44.2 innings.

Kyle Muller - Optioned after poor startMuller was optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

ImpactMuller allowed six earned runs on five hits and three walks while striking out just one across 2.1 innings Thursday against the Reds. He was also charged with the loss, dropping his record to 2-4. Though Muller had pitched effectively in the rotation since early July, he is seemingly the odd-man out with Huascar Ynoa (hand) set to return Tuesday. Muller's demotion also suggests that Touki Toussaint will remain a starter until Ian Anderson (shoulder) is activated.

ImpactOne day after batting leadoff, Farmer was moved to the No. 3 spot in the order and slugged his 11th home run of the season in the sixth inning against Josh Tomlin. Farmer has cooled considerably since his red-hot July and is just 5-for-27 (.185) over his last six games, but his two most recent assignments in the batting order suggest the Reds still have plenty of confidence in the 30-year-old Farmer.

Jonathan India - Cracks pair of extra-base hitsIndia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in a 12-3 win over Atlanta on Thursday.

ImpactIndia led off the game with a double to snap out of a 1-for-12 skid. He later drilled a solo homer to center field in the third inning off of Josh Tomlin, India's 14th round tripper of the season. The rookie standout is hitting .281 with an .865 OPS in 436 plate appearances while adding eight stolen bases in 11 attempts.
